For the second entry into the Stripped Encyclopedia we take a peek at Mer-Lad’s high school Atlantis High.
Atlantis High’s favourite local band, pictured here, is a thinly veiled reference to my wife’s favourite show, the Canadian melodrama Degrassi Junior High. The Zit Remedy (later called The Zits) is a band made up of characters from the show – Joey Jeremiah, Snake and Wheels – and their “hit” song was “Everybody Wants Something”:
